There was no theme for Muffin Tin Monday this week, so we made our own.
First of all, I must say how thrilled I was to find these silicone muffin cups in the Target dollar bins! I had actually already checked out and had our bags in hand when Maddie started doing the potty dance. As we rushed off toward the restroom, I passed these muffin cups and of course we just had to wait in line again to buy them!
So anyway, we used our new cups for this lunch. This was a "Taking Turns" lunch, meaning that Maddie got to pick something for her to eat and then I got to pick something for her to eat.
Here's how it turned out...
Top: PB&J (my pick) cut in heart shapes (her pick)
Middle: Strawberry yogurt (my pick)
Bottom: Sprinkles for her yogurt (her pick), raisins (my pick), Goldfish (her pick)
Everything was devoured except for the yogurt. While I can't get the girl to eat it, she certainly enjoyed the sprinkles all by themself!
Hop over to Muffin Tin Monday's official linky to see other meals!

Very nice - I LOVE the flower baking cups! All our muffin tins are boyish but when my baby gets older I can't wait to use such cute girly baking cups like yours! Nice job - I love your blog! :)
I love your new muffin cups. We all do so well at Target for Muffin Tin items. I also love the take turns idea. Nice tin.
I came over from MTM. I just want to say that taking turns is an awesome idea for meals and I'm going to try that!
Oh how cute. And you are the second one I've seen with those cups, I am headed to Target today lol! As always I have enjoyed my visit to your blog. Happy MTM. :)
I think we all found the muffin tins at Target! Madison would devour that lunch!
Well, this is definately a new way to define what it means to be a "picky" eater (sorry, bad joke...)!
Great tin! I love the flower cups!
Those are so cute! Great find!
So pretty!!! I love those muffin cups. It is so fun to see all of the shapes that are coming out!
I'm so jealous! I haven't seen these in our dollar spot yet! Guess I'll HAVE to go back AGAIN! =)
That looks so cute!
We got the circle and butterfly tins and I was so ecxited to find them. I will have to search for the flower ones now!!
i must get to target tomorrow!
i can't get my girls to *stop* eating yogurt.
great job!
We haven't seen these cups in our dollar spot yet, I can't wait! :)
How fun to choose a taking-turns theme... that could be fun letting my two kids take turns picking!
The silicone muffin cups are so sweet (what a great buy) and I like your idea of the "taking turns lunch".
It must be lovely to hear Maddie sing as she sits writing her name.
Opening and closing boxes to find a special treat inside is a great idea. I have been collecting bottles, jars etc for Blake as he is fascinated with them and he will sit with them for a while trying to open and close them. He also likes stacking the lids!
I really like the little bath mat and my mind is thinking up all sorts of possibilities with that. Next time we are out and about, I know what I will be looking for.
What a great idea to turn your photo collage with all of the people that Maddie loves into an I spy sort of game.
Very pretty muffin tin!
These are really cute muffin tin and great food. I want those muffin tins.
