A couple days of no blogging means that I've been busy! Just when I think that there's nothing left in the house to organize and clean, I find a whole new pocket of chaos. Lately, it's been our bedroom, Maddie's bedroom, Maddie's toys and her dress up clothes, too.

Anyway, all this cleaning leaves me incredibly tired, but equally as fulfilled. I love, love, love throwing things out, donating other things and living with less.

In good news, I passed my gestational diabetes test! Yay! Unfortunately, my blood pressure is low and my iron level is even lower, despite the supplements I've been on. But, I can handle all these things and was elated to not have gestational diabetes (since two of my great loves are Sprite and Skittles, haha).

And, despite the clock telling me that it's after 1am, Grayson is practicing his acrobatics and I'm wide awake. Doesn't a Sprite sound so good right now?! :)

And, in other news, I'm anxiously awaiting some pictures that my extremely talented friend took today. Even though Maddie was in one of the foulest, meanest kind of a bad mood, Monick promised that she got some good shots (and if she did, she truly deserves some sort of award). I can't wait to share them with you all.

Okay finally... Maddie will be two in two weeks. That is so hard to believe. Yesterday, we had the pleasure of celebrating at Owen's 2nd birthday party (who, by the way, was delivered by the same doctor exactly two weeks before Maddie) and it was a little surreal that these kids are turning two. I'm having a hard time wrapping my mind around her being two.

Although, then she throws a massive tantrum and I remember that they are slightly typical of the age...

It's Officially... (oh, and a giveaway!)

Summer!

Well, I guess technically speaking, it isn't "officially" summer until the 21st, but since today was Mike's last day of work, it feels pretty much like summer over here.

And, because it was such a beautiful day AND because it's where Maddie's birthday party will be next month and we wanted to scope it out (and I wanted to see how many tablecloths I needed to buy), we headed to our local zoo.

I'm SO mad that I forgot to bring my camera, so I have no pictures to share (but luckily for all of you, we bought a membership so we'll be going lots more and will take lots of pics, I'm sure). But, it was a ton of fun and I can hardly wait for her party.

Hmm, where do I start? I think I should start with the fact that my daughter is, well, obsessed interested in how medicine works and affects her system. She is frequently telling me that her "nose is real bad" or that her "teeth are hurtin' lots."

Short of giving her Tylenol or Advil every four hours (or at her every whim, as she'd have it), I had to figure something out. I know that she does have mild allergies and that her teeth probably really do hurt lots but I didn't feel good about pumping that much children's Tylenol in her.
