What I Wore Wednesday

Well it's been a while since I did one of these posts!

But, I'm finally out of all maternity clothes (10 months later).  I'm blaming the 10.8 pound baby on that one.  :)  Regardless, I'm back in my regular clothes, though I still find myself defaulting to comfy pants and tank tops.  It's not easy to find tops or dresses that are easy to nurse in, which is definitely still a priority at this stage of life.

Anyway, I thought if I held myself accountable to taking pictures of my outfits for one week, I'd get more creative than jeans, a tank top and cardigan.  :)

Monday
What did I do before tall brown boots?!

Tuesday
Old Navy has had some super cute dresses for really cheap.

Wednesday
Maddie was excited that we were both in pink dresses  :)

Thursday
Grayson is incredibly mobile (crawling and cruising) but still loves most to be held.  :)
I used a gift card to Forever 21 and got this cute, Springy wrap dress (awesome to nurse in, too!).

Friday
My Target top and... brown boots.  For the fourth time in a week.  Ha!

Friday night
We had some friends over so I changed.  :)

Saturday
Totally casual.  Didn't even bother with shoes apparently.  :)
And really, jeans, tank tops, and cardigans make me happy (which is why I own about 20 of each of those things!).

What I Wore Wednesday!

I think this is actually a compilation of what I've worn over the past two weeks, since I seem to forget to photograph it about every other day. :)

Grayson and I have been going through quite the adventure lately, but I'll save that for another post. He's doing well and I've become well acquainted with the labor and delivery floor at our hospital! Ha!
One of my favorite shirts is from my friend Jenny.
It's so comfy and I think it'll be a good one to wear after he comes, too.
Getting bigger (I think this was 34 weeks?)!
Forever 21 maternity dress (from Christmas) that I'm filling out more and more!
Mike bought me this shirt (GAP maternity) and I love it!
This outfit was just bad.
The cardigan was stretched beyond belief and screamed for mercy until I replaced it with a white sweater around noon. Ha!
A non-maternity Forever 21 shirt and sweater. :)
Mike said it looked like I wasn't wearing a tank top underneath, even though I most certainly was!
That'd be quite a sight if I wasn't, huh?!
A big comfy Forever 21 maternity sweater that I could live in.
And finally, a non-maternity Forever 21 dress (yes, I wear a lot of Forever 21 but I've rarely had a quality issue with them and I love that you can get more for your dollar, especially when I'm not sure how long I'll wear these clothes for!).
Almost 35 weeks (and feeling gigantic!)!

What I Wore Wednesday!

I was good about remembering to take pictures this week!
I really love this basketball belly that I'm sporting and hopefully these pictures will help me remember what it was like, once I've totally forgotten in a couple of years. :)
I don't know where I was going, but this is definitely considered "dressed up" these days! Ha!
The dress is regular-section (as in, not maternity) from Forever 21 and my boots are from Target.
So I'm not sure if you know, but I'm a private tutor for elementary school students in the afternoons. Well, I've been hesitant to tell a certain family that I'm pregnant, simply because I'm nervous that they'll stop coming (they have a super busy schedule and I could see this being an easy out). Anyway, I try to conceal the belly when I tutor this student (hence the all black) but this last week, it didn't work. At all. Ha!
She said she's been waiting for me to tell her, but she finally had to ask.
And, she said she was fine with a break and they'd start up again when I returned. Yay!
This is a regular Gap shirt (from the outlet, actually) and it fits great!
A clearanced Forever 21 maternity shirt.
I love it.
Please forgive the state of our bed in every single one of these pictures!
In an attempt to help my back, Mike removed our box springs.
It hasn't helped and it's made making the bed just a nightmare because it's so low.
Side shot!
Oh.
Gap shirt again. Ha!
And finally, my friend Jenny's shirt. :)
I've been so fortunate with the maternity clothes donations that I honestly feel like I have a huge wardrobe. Totally different from Maddie's pregnancy!

What I Wore Wednesday!

I worked hard to remember and take a picture of what I wore this past week, despite my room being temporarily taken over by Maddie's baby clothes. Thankfully, they have ALL been donated now and you'll see that our room DID get cleaner as the week went on. :)
Ack, I can't even see beyond the heaps of clothes (there were 12 Rubbermaid boxes full!), but maybe you can. :) This is a Target sweater from Maddie's pregnancy and my goodness, it feels a lot more snug this time around!
My attempt at jeggings.
They were so cheap at Forever 21 that I thought it'd be nice to swap out the leggings for these once in a while.

Haha, side shot :)
I got this shirt dress in the juniors department at Marshall's and I love it!
Another side shot just because I know this won't last forever and I don't want to forget. :)
My new Target top (that sadly got super shrunk in the wash).
Last side one. Promise. Well, for this post at least. :)
My friend Megan brought over some maternity clothes, including this Gap dress.
And finally, today (and another shirt from Megan/Forever 21!).

I must be looking quite pregnant because the worker at the post office told me that I had a nice waddle. Ha! I wasn't sure how to accept that compliment!

What I Wore Wednesday!

Whoo-hoo! Another week of What I Wore Wednesday!
A non-maternity dress.
Looks normal from the front...
With a bump added, from the side! :)
A lazy weekend
Look at that! I love this bump and am feeling...
large. :)
My non-maternity shirt from Forever 21 has about two or three more wears out of it before it'll have to be retired.
And, sportin' some new-to-me maternity clothes! I have some of the most generous friends and am loving my "new" clothes!

Hmm, apparently my "week" only had four days because I only have four pictures. Haha. Oh well. This is serving as my pregnancy progression too, so four is sufficient (right?!). :)

What I Wore Wednesday!

In an attempt to be a better blogger, I recorded my outfits for the week (sorta) so that I could participate in What I Wore Wednesday!

To be honest, I'm just exhausted. Between running our store, tutoring everyday and just keeping up with being a wife and mom, I'm tired. I'm pretty sure it was 100% easier when I was pregnant with Maddie because once I was done teaching for the day, I could come home and NAP! My sweet mom usually lets me nap before I tutor and she'll take Maddie, but I really hate to impose every single day.

Anyway, that's the reason for the slow blogging. Complete and pure exhaustion that I wouldn't trade for the whole world! :)

Onto my outfits...
We went to a dinner with our church friends and I got to wear my Forever 21 maternity dress again (I wore it Christmas Eve, too).
Look at the bump! :)
My absolutely awesome friend Heather donated a ton of maternity shirts my way and I've been SO grateful! I'd sold nearly all of my maternity clothes from Maddie's pregnancy, so this loan has been such a gift!
These are pre-pregnancy jeans (with a Bella Band) but when the little man would not stop kicking (seriously, it went from entertaining to worrisome! Haha!), I changed back to my single, solitary pair of maternity jeans. I don't think he liked being so constricted!
I wear cardigans every single day (pregnant or not! Haha!).
And, yesterday's belly picture (which I only started taking a few weeks ago because I'm ridiculously superstitious and trying to get over it) at 23 weeks.

What I Wore Wednesday

Okay, I captured a few outfits this week!
Maddie was standing off to the side, telling me that she REALLY wanted me to try on Daddy's Beast costume (you can kind of see it on the bed).
Instead, I wore jeans and my $6 Old Navy shirt. :)
Love my Target shirt.
Didn't love that it went on sale the next week and I had already thrown my receipt out (because yes, I love to go get my price adjustment!).
My belly is starting to pop out a bit!
And finally, I ditched the jeans for a dress because my mom and I went to a charity luncheon.

Nothing too exciting, as far as clothes go, but at least I did remember to take a few pics!
Check out what others wore over at The Pleated Poppy!
