Maddie and I had such a fun night AND a fun day today. Last night, our friends Monick, Lilly, Brandie and Mason came over for dinner and play. I knew they were good friends (alright, not like I was doubting them though!) when they vacuumed my house AND washed Maddie's hair for me!
Brandie even built them a crazy cool tent/fort! They loved it and ran in and out, giggling the whole time.
So, first of all, it's hard to set up the camera on a timer AND get everyone centered. Lol. Secondly, after putting the babies to bed, we broke out the champagne. Not entirely sure what we were celebrating, but it was fun!
Today, Maddie and I had some of our friends over for the toddler art class that we (okay, I) have each month. Each child got a 5x7 canvas and all sorts of paints and Dot Art bottles. They made some glorious art and then displayed them on little silver easels. :)
Brandie, Jenn and I were sitting on the steps when I realized that Maddie had wiggled herself in and was chatting right along with us. :) Just one of the girls...
It looks like Maddie was in need of a tool or spare part for her car. :) Blake, Noah and her had fun "fixing" it, while Kayla stood by, watching.
And finally, how cool is this puzzle?! My mom picked it up at the thrift shop where she volunteers and I am so excited by it. Maddie's too young for it now, but not only do I love Melissa and Doug things, I love that it's totally different from what she's seen. Thanks Mom!!
